Männiku staadion
A sports ground stood on this patch of Võidu tänav as far back as the 1930s.
A heated artificial pitch went in during 2004, and the site did not stop there — a new administration building costing 1.5 million euros followed in 2015 and 2016. The ground has since become a venue for concerts, festivals and conferences alongside its football fixtures.
FC Nõmme United have called it home since 2000, and the club's rise into Premium Liiga in 2024 pushed capacity up to 500, with a fan zone carved into the forest behind the stands for the occasion. HÜJK Emmaste continue to use the ground today.
The forest setting has not always been gentle to the place: in 1936, an explosion at a nearby munitions depot killed 60 people on the stadium grounds, a piece of the site's history that sits apart from anything football brought to it.
