Stadium
Marston Stadium
Formerly: Lido Ground
Marston Stadium sits inside the grounds of the Afan Lido Sports Centre. The Queen opened the sports centre in 1965; Afan Lido F.C. followed two years later and has called the ground home ever since.
It is a modest place by design, and the record crowds bear that out. The biggest gate on record came for a Welsh Football League fixture against Goytre United, while the Welsh Premier League mark was set against near neighbours Port Talbot Town.
The pitch remains natural grass, on a site named for Princess Margaret Way.
