Melita Ground
Pembroke, Malta
The complex was developed starting in 2002, with the current setup inaugurated in the summer of 2007 and officially opened the following April. The ground is named after Gianni Bencini, who founded Melita F.C. in 1933, though the current infrastructure is far younger. Beyond football, the pitch has seen use for international rugby league matches, including European Championship C fixtures for the national team.
The seating is modest. Reports on capacity vary, with figures ranging from 250 to 500, but the structure is simple: a small stand with roughly 70 seats and standing room for the remainder. The address is not definitively listed in primary sources, but the location in Pembroke is established.
The ground replaced older facilities. It remains a working venue for local competitions and occasional international fixtures.
