In 2016 and 2017, with the Women's U-17 European Championship coming to the Czech Republic, Domažlice rebuilt again — a new east stand with 580 seats, part of it covered, with dressing rooms, media space, a VIP box and a buffet, the old main stand left standing alongside it. Between the two came a resurfacing in 2001, when a synthetic running track replaced the old one and the grass went in fresh.

TJ Jiskra Domažlice remain the tenants, and outside match days the track and field still gets regular use, including the town's own "Hvězdné házení" meeting, run at Bronze World Athletics level.
