«Jiskra»
Domažlice had two football clubs before it settled on one identity: SK Šumava, turned out in green and white, and SK Sněhaři, who followed in blue and white. Šumava came first, in 1908; Sněhaři formed in 1912, and by 1934 had won the West Bohemian county and reached divisional qualifying.
The postwar reorganisation of Czechoslovak sport erased both names. Between 1951 and 1953 the club passed through Sokol and ZSJ Domažlice before settling, in 1953, on DSO Jiskra Domažlice — Jiskra, "spark", the name that has stuck since. A second merger came decades later: in 1992 Jiskra absorbed RH, a club tied to a local army garrison and wound up when the unit was disbanded, and stood as its legal successor.
The club plays in blue and white at the Městský stadion Střelnice, which holds 5,000 with 1,200 seats. Its honours sit in the lower tiers rather than the top flight: champions of Division A, the fourth level, in 2010/11, and twice champions of the Czech Fotbal League's group A, the third tier, in 2022/23 and 2024/25. David Limberský, who came through Viktoria Plzeň's academy, played for Jiskra from 2021 to 2024 and now serves as the club's sporting director.
No fixture in Domažlice carries more weight than the one against FC Viktoria Plzeň and its reserve side, contested as the Západočeské derby — the West Bohemian derby.
