Mjörnvallen
The bank paid for it. When the ground opened on 6 June 1915, the money had come from Sparbanken Alingsås, and twenty years later the same bank helped put up the first proper stand.
That 1935 stand outlived its usefulness slowly. A refit in 2001 was meant to extend its life; instead it exposed how far gone the structure was, and the stand was condemned. It stood for another twelve years before Serneke demolished it in 2013 and built a replacement in timber on the same footprint. The rebuild kept the ground looking like itself: the white and green, and the pyramid-shaped stairways that give the stand its outline from across Lövekullevägen.
The most recent work came for a reason rather than a schedule. Alingsås IF's women's side reached Damallsvenskan, and with elite football came the requirements that go with it — new fluorescent lighting, a television tower, new dugouts, a standing area. The reopening was marked at half-time of the match against Linköpings FC in April 2025.
The attendance record does not belong to the home club. On 5 June 2001, 3,323 came for a Sweden–Moldova Under-21 friendly, which Sweden won 3–0. Alingsås IF's own best is 2,186, set in 1971 for the derby against Holmalunds IF.
Between competitive fixtures the pitch takes Gothia Cup ties, and the ground has hosted concerts.
