Munkebo Idrætscenter

Shipyard workers from Munkebo, together with people from local associations, businesses and the trades, built Munkebo Hallen , and it opened on 1 November 1969 . The swimming pool followed in 1978 .

The ground holds 1,000 , on natural grass, with no running track and no floodlights — which means the football season is bounded by daylight in a way that the indoor sports are not.

The pitch belongs to Munkebo Boldklub , whose senior men's and women's sides play regional football. The club also runs Fodbold for Hjertet , a walking-football group, on the same grass. Its one fixed date in the wider calendar is the Rema 1000 Munkebo Cup , held annually.
