Nagyerdei Stadion
The pitch reflects that rebuild as much as the stands do — rolled turf laid over washed river sand. Architect Péter Bordás of BORDÉpítész Stúdió designed it, and the HUNÉP-led consortium built it, with Dezső Zsigmond as lead structural engineer.
Debreceni VSC play their home matches here, and Debreceni EAC joined them as tenants from 2020. Hungary's national side has also used the ground, along with Qatar's team in 2021 and, more recently, Israel's, which staged matches here on neutral territory across 2024 and 2025. The largest crowd recorded came on 22 May 2014, when 20,000 turned out for a friendly between Hungary and Denmark that finished 2-2.
UEFA brought its European Under-17 Championship to Debrecen in 2023, with four group matches and a quarter-final held at the Nagyerdei. Beyond football, the ground hosts yoUDay, a recurring university show, though it has not been a stop for major touring rock acts, and Hungary's domestic cup final is played elsewhere.
