Nart

There are two football clubs called Nart in the North Caucasus. This is the stadium of Cherkessk, in the "Zelyony Ostrov" park, and it spent decades as an ordinary municipal ground before a rebuild tied to the 100th anniversary of Karachay-Cherkessia.

The reconstruction added a new west stand, modern floodlights, eight running lanes, a long-jump pit, courts for volleyball and basketball, and an indoor winter arena alongside the pitch. The old surface gave way to a roll-out natural lawn with proper drainage.

The reopening, on 20 August 2022, was not a competitive fixture but a friendly between Spartak Moscow veterans and a Karachay-Cherkessia select side that finished 4-4 in front of a packed ground. A gala concert followed on 7 September, drawing more than ten thousand people for the republic's centenary, with Stas Mikhailov, Basta and Zara among the names on the bill.

FC Nart Cherkessk was revived only in 2023, and were handed a debut season in the Second League, Division B, the following year.
