Nefyanik

Building stopped here in 1955, two years after it began, and did not resume for another decade. The ground had been laid out as part of the Ufa Oil Refinery's sports complex; the reorganisation of the refineries ended the work, and only in 1965 did the site come back to life. It was put into operation on 6 November 1967, with the official opening ceremony held the year after.

The design came from the Moscow design and architecture studio named after the Academician Veshnyakovs, with L. A. Nechaeva as chief architect; SMU-4 did the construction. Between 2012 and 2015 the old stands came down and the ground was rebuilt around modern facilities, with an artificial pitch laid over automated heating and irrigation. The passport figure is 15,132 seats, though restricted views in several sectors leave roughly 13,573 of them usable.

The refinery kept its hold on the name as well. The ground answered to AO Ufaneftekhim until 1969 and to Neftyanik thereafter, until June 2021, when a sponsorship deal made it BetBoom Arena. That contract was terminated, and in July 2022 the older name came back.

FC Ufa play here, and the stadium has carried the club's European nights: qualifying ties in the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Champions League against Domžale, Progrès Niederkorn and Rangers, with Russian Cup fixtures in between.
