Niké Aréna

The building sits in the Žilina I district, a block of concrete and glass. It is not a football stadium; the separate ground for MŠK Žilina sits nearby. This is an indoor ice rink, a facility that began as an open-air artificial surface in 1949 before the covered arena structure was completed in 1961.

These advertisements have shifted over time, the venue trading names as sponsors came and went—Garmin, DOXXbet, Tipsport—before settling on the current branding.

Inside, the capacity is 6,200. The surface is ice, suited for the matches played by the Slovak Extraliga side Vlci Žilina. The architects who designed the steel components, Milan Hodoň and Ján Dlhopolček, sourced the structural elements from the Třinec Iron and Steel Works. The arena also hosts events away from the hockey rink, including figure skating competitions and bodybuilding contests. The address remains Športová 5.
