Paisley Park Soccer Complex

Paisley Park is the sort of ground that belongs to a council rather than a club: it sits on Mason Street in Altona North under the ownership of the City of Hobsons Bay, and two sides share the pitch rather than one calling it home. Altona Magic SC, who play in the Victoria National Premier League, run out here alongside Altona East Phoenix, who compete a division down in the state's North/West league — a split tenancy that shapes how often the natural grass surface gets a rest between fixtures.

The complex opened in 1975 and went through a refit in 2005, though little of that overhaul changed the essential character of the place. There is no former name attached to it and no rebrand to explain — Paisley Park has been Paisley Park since it first opened its gates.
