Formerly: Pontardawe Recreation Ground
The land at Parc Ynysderw once belonged to the tin and steel works that gave Pontardawe its shape. On 31 January 1963 the ground was designated a King George V Playing Field and placed under the protection of Fields in Trust.
Pontardawe Town AFC moved in during 2015 and spent that year bringing the ground up to Tier 2 standard for Welsh football, including work on the changing rooms in the adjoining leisure centre.
Capacity is a thousand. The playing surface is natural grass.
