Profertil Arena Hartberg
The town owns the ground, and that shows in how it has been changed. When TSV Hartberg came up into the Austrian Bundesliga in 2018, the club and the municipality did not rebuild the place — they added to it. Two mobile stands went in behind the goals, the floodlights were upgraded and the safety arrangements tightened, at a net cost of 5.346 million euros. The club carried 3.726 million of that, the commune 1.62 million. The old east and west stands were left alone.
The permanent fix started in 2025 and is due to finish in 2027. The province of Styria is putting in 9 million euros of the roughly 11 million the work will cost. The contractor is the local Grabner-Gruppe; the town's project management runs through HSI Hartberg Standortentwicklung und Immobilien.
The name changed in August 2014, when a sponsorship deal with the fertiliser firm Profertil replaced the plain Stadion Hartberg . No cup final has been played here and no senior men's international — the ground is too small. It has taken training camps, though: Costa Rica based themselves in Hartberg in November 2022 and played Qatar here.
