The Raiffeisen Arena opened in February 2023 with a women's fixture against SPG Geretsberg/Bürmoos, and the men's side followed a week later against SC Austria Lustenau, won 1-0.
The rebuild cost 65 million euros for the stadium itself, rising to 85 million once training pitches, offices and a matchday restaurant were added, with the province of Upper Austria covering 30 million and the rest carried by the club and private backers, Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich among them. The new bowl, holding 19,080 on a hybrid grass surface, sits on the Froschberg hillside.
This is a stadium built from scratch that inherited its site's history rather than its structure.
