Right to Dream Park

Right to Dream Park carries a name that tells its own story. It opened as Farum Park in 1999, and for years the pitch belonged to Farum Boldklub before FC Nordsjælland took it over in 2003. When Right to Dream, the football academy, bought the club in December 2015, the ground was renamed within months — April 2016.

The pitch itself set a precedent: in 2012 it became the first artificial surface laid down for a Danish Superliga side. Furesø Municipality has owned the site since it went up, and beyond that turf switch, little else about the place has been touched — no grandstand rebuild, no expansion, just the one modernisation.

Between 2023 and 2025, Hillerød Fodbold used it as a temporary home. Two decades earlier, in 2002, the ground had already hosted matches at the UEFA European Under-17 Championship, and for over a decade after opening it staged the Mermaid Bowl, the Danish American football final, every year through to 2011.

The record crowd here dates to 2012, when 10,300 turned out for FC Nordsjælland against AC Horsens — a Superliga fixture on the same artificial surface that had just gone in.
