Rishøj Stadium

Rishøj Stadium sits in the Ølby area on the northern edge of Køge, and the ground reflects the level it serves: a grass pitch, no grandstands, no floodlights.

The football side began in 1971 as the football department of Rishøj Idrætsforening , itself the product of a merger between Ølsemagle Idrætsforening and Ølby Gymnastikforening. In 2004 the footballers separated out as Rishøj Boldklub . The stadium's own earlier name, Lyngvejens Stadion , came from the street it stands on.

In 1992 the club took the Zealand Series 2 League Final here against the Hillerød G&IF reserves and saw the game out 2–1, with around 300 people watching.

The stadium pitch itself stayed grass.
