Rosenaustadion
Rosenaustadion never carried a sponsor's name.
Thomas Wechs drew the original plans; the main stand went up under the city's own building authority, led by Werner Kap. It served as FC Augsburg's home until 2009, when the club moved to what is now the WWK Arena. Since then, Rosenaustadion has stepped back into a supporting role: reserve fixtures, the women's side, and, from 2024, TSV Schwaben Augsburg.
The capacity figure depends on who is counting and for what. The old top-flight configuration listed 32,354; current match-day use runs closer to 26,443, with only around 5,900 of those seated and the rest standing terraces. There is no roof over any of it — an open bowl.
The pitch is natural grass.
