The 2008 date attached to the stadium marks that reworked infrastructure rather than the first football played on the site.

The surface has been the recurring subject. It is artificial, and in 2021 Эйстуркоммуна commissioned a new hybrid playing field from Иннспорт.

Capacity now stands at 3,000, of which 445 are seats. Earlier figures put the ground at 1,600.

Сарпугерди saw the 2:1 against Даугавы and the goalless draw with Тромсё that carried the tie; the run ended with a 1:5 against Риеки. Faroese cup finals have been staged here too, among them the meeting of Викингур Гёта and ТБ Твёройри on 25 November 2020.
