Serbian Sports Centre

Serbian Sports Centre was built in 1975 in this southeastern Melbourne suburb. Springvale White Eagles play their home fixtures here, though that name never made it onto any official record.

The pitch is natural grass, kept to a size that suits a lower-tier ground rather than a national stadium, and the capacity sits at 5,000, most of it standing room around a compact bowl with 400 seats. The centre sits at 310–322 Perry Road, tucked into a stretch of Keysborough that mixes light industry with suburban streets, easy enough to find but not a venue anyone stumbles across by accident.

Away from football, the centre earns its keep hosting concerts and community functions, which keeps it busier across a calendar year than a single tenant club could manage on its own. There is no record of the ground changing hands or being rebuilt since it opened — it has simply carried on serving the same purpose for the same community for half a century.
