The stadium in Qa'em Shahr has already worn three names in its life, and the changes track the country's own turning points. It opened in 1946 as Shahna, before the 1979 revolution gave it the first of two new identities — Eftekhari, then Shahid Vatanī, the name it carries now.

For most of its recent history the pitch was artificial. That changed between 2021 and 2023, when the surface was pulled up and replaced with natural turf, finished in time to bring the ground into line with what the Iranian football federation now expects of clubs playing here. It stands as home to Nassaji Mazandaran, in the Ekbatan district, at the junction of Mokhaberat and Varzesh streets — a fairly modest 15,000-capacity venue, but one whose changing name has, each time, followed the country's history rather than the club's.
