Nassaji Mazandaran

Qaem Shahr grew up around textile production in Mazandaran province, and it was workers from the Nassaji Mazandaran textile factory who put a football club together on 3 May 1959.

The Mazandaran Tigers, as the club is known locally, reached the Azadegan League for the first time in 1991 and stayed there until 1995. Nader Dastneshan captained the side through much of that era, from 1986 to 1999, and in 1986 he finished as top scorer at a tournament in Pakistan with nine goals in eight matches.

The record books at the club point elsewhere for pure numbers: Mohammad Abbaszadeh scored 66 goals in 122 appearances, while Hamed Shiri made 185 appearances, a club record, and added 26 goals of his own.

The 2021/22 season brought the club's first major trophy, the Hazfi Cup, with Saket Elhami involved in that triumph, and Nassaji followed it by reaching the final of the Iranian Super Cup the same year. Promotion and relegation had kept the Tigers moving between divisions in the years since their first spell in the top flight, and in 2025/26 they won the Azadegan League outright, sending them back into Iran's top division.

Home games are played at the Shahid Vatani Stadium in Qaem Shahr, known to supporters simply as Vatani.
