Szombathely tore down its old ground and started again. The Haladás Sportkomplexum, still widely known by the address it sits on, replaced the Rohonci úti stadion, which had served the city's football since 1923 and stood on the same plot until 2015. The new build opened its gates on 8 November 2017, in time for the 2017/18 campaign.
The result holds roughly 8,900 people. Architect Péter Bordás drew up the design, and construction firm ZÁÉV carried it out.
Natural turf covers the pitch, at 3 Rohonci út, on the same ground Haladás has occupied since the 1920s in one form or another. Across the city, the Aréna Savaria complex on Sugárút hosts indoor sport rather than football.
