TSV Kornburg play in a district of Nuremberg.

That scale gets tested only when 1. FC Nürnberg come to town for pre-season work. In June 2016 the professional side won 3-2 in front of 2,500 spectators, a number already well above what the ground was designed for. A Nürnberg squad preparing under head coach Miroslav Klose beat Kornburg 10-0, and roughly 3,000 people packed in to watch, again outnumbering the stadium's own capacity.

Those afternoons are the exception. No official DFB-Pokal tie has ever been staged here, and none of the regional cup finals either.
