Sportpark De Westmaat

Two clubs, two pitches, one gate on the Westdijk. Sportpark De Westmaat is not one ground but a pair of them, side by side in Бюнсхотен-Спакенбург: the Blue Westmaat belongs to СВ Спакенбюрг, the Red Westmaat to ВВ EjsselmeervogelsRed. Both moved here in 1971, after the national first tier was reorganised and each club won promotion in the same season. They have been neighbours ever since.

The derby is the fixture that fills the place. On 14 May 2022, 7,500 people came through for it — the largest crowd the complex has recorded.

The other date people bring up is 4 April 2023, when Спакенбюрг hosted ПСВ in the KNVB Beker in front of 6,438. ПСВ won 2–1, but the tie mattered for how the amateurs had got there — only the third amateur side ever to reach the semi-finals of the Dutch cup. Earlier in the same run they held Эксельсиор to a 2–2 draw here.

Both pitches were relaid with GreenFields MX artificial turf ahead of the 2015 season. The Red side has also hosted the Taptoe Bunschoten-Spakenburg, a brass-band festival, staged there on 29 April 2015 with four Dutch orchestras.
