Sportplatz Kematen

Kematen in Tirol is a small commune in the Innsbruck-Land district, and its Sportplatzweg ground has long served as the only real football venue the club, SV Kematen, calls home. The pitch opened on 8 September 1968.

The main pitch has kept its natural turf throughout, even as the club added a secondary artificial-turf field alongside it in 2007. Matches, though, are still played on grass.

Address records for the site have occasionally diverged — some listings give the street number as 2 rather than 1 — but the stadium databases that track Austrian grounds specifically converge on Sportplatzweg 1 as the correct entry.
