Stade d'Abbé-Désam
A running track once ringed the pitch, holding capacity down for years until the club worked around it in stages rather than in one grand rebuild: a first stand of 150 seats in 1930, the main side stand redone in 1984, the Vaux and Leclerc stands replaced with plastic seating in 1994, and further work in 2010 to bring the ground up to UEFA standard for Champions League nights.
The record crowd dates to 18 May 1996, when 22,500 packed in for the final round of that season's championship against Nantes — the match that made Auxerre champions of France for the only time in the club's history. The France national side has used the ground twice, beating Azerbaijan 10-0 in 1995 and Georgia 1-0 in 2007, both in European Championship qualifying, and the women's team have played here as well, with a Nations League fixture against the Netherlands pencilled in for April 2026.
In 2024, with their own stadium unavailable, Top 14 side Racing 92 borrowed the pitch for home matches.
