Stade de la Fontenette
Étoile Carouge FC have played their home matches at Stade de la Fontenette since 1966, and the ground still carries that long single-tenancy the way older Geneva clubs rarely can. US Carouge FC use the adjacent Terrain B, and for three seasons through 2024 Servette FC Chênois Féminin also called the Fontenette home, sharing a pitch that sits at Route de Veyrier 51-53 without much fuss made of it.
Servette FC themselves turned up for a handful of matches in 1992, a detail that belongs to the ground's history rather than its present. The artificial pitch dates only to 2020, replacing whatever had carried the club through the decades before, and a 2013 refit brought the stadium up to the standard the Swiss Football League requires of its members. Neither change altered the ground's basic character: a compact 3,600-capacity home built for a club, not for occasions.
The city of Carouge opened a feasibility study into renovating the stadium in 2024, with an eye on finishing by 2031. Nothing about the current Fontenette suggests a venue mid-transformation, though — it remains the sort of ground where the tenant and the address have barely changed in sixty years, even as the surface underfoot and the paperwork around it quietly have.
