Stade de la Tuilière

Lausanne-Sport spent the best part of a century at the Stade olympique de la Pontaise before decamping across the city; la Tuilière is not a renovation of that ground but an entirely different building on an entirely different site, part of a wider sports complex on Route de Romanel. Work began in December 2017 and the first ball was kicked in November 2020, in a match against Young Boys Bern that finished 0-3.

The stadium had to wait almost a year to be seen properly full. Not until September 2021, in a 1-1 draw with FC Sion, did supporters fill la Tuilière, and that afternoon still stands as the ground's attendance record. The pitch is artificial rather than grass, a choice tied to the adjoining training centre still taking shape; the club has spoken of switching to a natural surface once that project is finished, though no date has been set.

Away from matchdays, the venue has found a second life as a concert site — the Atto Project festival filled it over two nights in September 2023 — a role the old Pontaise, ageing and increasingly unfit for large crowds, was never really suited to.
