Stade des Arbères
The Stade des Arbères is one part of a municipal complex rather than a ground standing on its own. It sits inside the Centre sportif de Meyrin, on Avenue Louis-Rendu in the Geneva commune of Мерен, sharing the site with training pitches laid with artificial surfaces. The match pitch — Terrain A — is natural grass.
It opened at the end of May 2008, and its arrival closed two earlier chapters at once. Мерен ФК had played at the Stade du Bois-Carré, and before that used the Stade de Vaudagne, founded in 1959. The move to Арбер ended both arrangements; the club has played its home matches there since.
What has not happened since 2008 is almost the more useful fact. The stands and the structure have never been rebuilt or extended, and the ground has carried the same name from the first day — no sponsor's name, no commemorative renaming.
The one addition came late. Between 2019 and 2022 the complex gained a service building of 290 square metres for pitch maintenance, its façade finished in cork.
Capacity is 2,018. The figure is precise rather than rounded.
