Stade Robert Champroux
In 2015, with the Jeux de la Francophonie approaching, there was talk of tearing out the synthetic pitch for natural grass. The Fédération Ivoirienne de Football pushed back the following year, citing the logistics of a ground that had to keep hosting league matches through any changeover. The artificial turf stayed, and it went in again fresh during the 2019–2020 rebuild — work that ran from June 2019 to February 2020 and dealt with a drainage problem by adding a second outlet. It means the pitch still falls short of CAF's natural-grass requirement for its international competitions.
The other renovation came earlier, in 2007, when the venue got its first electronic scoreboard. By 2022, CAF was pushing for further work, this time on the dressing rooms and the VIP and press stands.
Stella Club d'Abidjan plays its football here, on a ground that holds 10,000 — though during the 2019 works capacity dropped to as little as 2,800 while crews rebuilt around the crowd. There is no official website for the stadium, only a listed phone line for inquiries.
