Stadio Dino Manuzzi

The pitch at Cesena was the first of its kind in Italy. In 2011 a Limonta Sport artificial surface went down at the ground on Viale dello Stadio, replaced in July 2024 for €70,000 to satisfy Serie B licensing. The one interruption came in 2019, when natural grass sods were laid over the top so the ground could host matches at the UEFA European Under-21 Championship; the same round of work brought in new seats and set the capacity where it stands now.

That figure is a long way down from what the ground once held. It opened in 1957 as Stadio La Fiorita, in the Fiorenzuola district that gave it the name, and it was terraces and nothing else. AC Cesena went up to Serie A in 1973, temporary stands went in, and the ground took roughly 30,000. On 10 February 1974 it held 35,991 for the visit of AC Milan, whom Cesena beat 1-0 — a record that no later configuration has come close to. The 1988 reconstruction swapped the terraces for double-tiered covered stands and cut the number by more than a third.

The name changed in 1982, after the death of Dino Manuzzi, the club's long-serving president. Sponsorship added a prefix in September 2014, and the ground is now the Orogel Stadium - Dino Manuzzi.

Norway beat Italy 1-0 here in the 1993 UEFA Women's Euro final, watched by around 7,000. Italy played Japan at rugby here in August 2011. Spezia Calcio borrowed the ground for the 2019-20 season.
