Stadio Gavagnin Nocini

Centro sportivo Mario Gavagnin-Sinibaldo Nocini sits in the Borgo Venezia district of Verona. The Municipality owns the ground.

It is named after two men. Mario Gavagnin founded Polisportiva Libertas Montorio, while Sinibaldo Nocini, a sports cardiologist, presided over Virtus Verona. They are remembered in the name, though the stadium itself has seen tenants come and go. The facility is multi-purpose, sharing time with rugby and baseball clubs, a legacy of its renovation for the 2009 Baseball World Cup.
