Stadio Romeo Menti

On 8 September 1935 the newly built Campo Sportivo del Littorio opened with a friendly against the Hungarian side Соросксар, won 2:1 by the home team, and a sixteen-year-old named Ромео Менти made his debut that afternoon. The ground shed its fascist-era title in 1945 and became the Stadio Comunale, then in 1949, weeks after Menti died in the Superga air crash of 4 May, the city council of Виченца voted to give it his name.

What the stands hold has moved with the decades rather than with any single rebuild. Repaired after wartime damage, the ground took 17,000 in 1947 and was pushed to 30,000 through the 1950s: 31,023 in on 22 January 1978 for a goalless draw with Ювентус, a night on which the home side did not score away, but did not concede either. Safety legislation in the 1990s cut the figure to 20,920, and the 2007 round of turnstiles, cameras and the removal of the metal roof supports took it to roughly 12,000.

In February 2024 the floods across Венето reached the site, putting water through the dressing rooms, the store rooms and the electrical systems. A new section of some 550 seats is due to open in February 2026.
