Stadion Na Šlajsi

Ланжгот is a small town on the Czech-Slovak border, and its stadium has stood on Na Šlajsi since 1985. When the ground did change this year, the change was modest: a section of embankment was cleared in 2025 to make way for a pumptrack, and there's talk of finally fitting out the away dressing room.

The bigger story here belongs to a match the current stadium never hosted. On 18 July 1943, long before Na Šlajsi existed, the local side then known as SK Lanžhot took on Sparta Prague in a friendly and drew a crowd of 6,000 — a figure the ground built decades later has never matched. Sparta won 4:2, and the man refereeing was Vlasta Burian, an actor well known across Czechoslovakia at the time. It's the sort of detail that turns up in a club's own history rather than a match programme, and it still marks the high point of attendance in Lanžhot.

By comparison, the numbers at Na Šlajsi itself have stayed low-key: 3,150 for a Czech Republic v Germany Under-16 European Championship fixture in April 1999, and 690 for a fourth-division league game against FK Blansko in the 2018/19 season. TJ Sokol Lanžhot plays its home matches here, on natural grass, with room for 5,500 — of which 650 have cover and the rest stand.
