Stadion Osvobození

Formerly: unknown

Trutnov's ground sits on Na Lukách: Stadion Osvobození, the Stadium of Liberation, a title fixed to the ground in the years after the war and never changed since.

The club that plays there has worn half a dozen names of its own — Sportovní kroužek Trutnov at its founding in 1921, then Slavoj, then Lokomotiva, then FK, a chain of relabellings typical of a town side that outlasted the regimes that renamed it. In 2012 it merged with SK Horní Staré Město and settled as MFK Trutnov, the name it carries onto the pitch today.

The stadium itself grew in pieces rather than in one build: a new stand went up in 2004, a running track followed in 2011, and next to the main grass pitch — kept playable with irrigation — a second field was laid with fourth-generation artificial turf and floodlights, built to take a full year of use regardless of what the grass field could handle. The city owns the ground; MEBYS Trutnov, the municipal company that runs the town's sports facilities, keeps it operating.

For a venue holding 2,500, its one line on the continental record is a real one: Trutnov hosted group matches in the intermediate round of the 2019 UEFA Regions' Cup, a rare turn in the European spotlight for a stadium that otherwise serves its own town's football.
