Stadionul Comunal Păulești

The ground at the end of Str. Nicolae Iorga in Păulești is a quiet place for a match in the third tier. The site is owned by the commune, which has overseen the building since the original structure went up in the 1950s. The local club CS Păulești has played its home games here for decades. The team, originally founded in the nearby village of Găgeni, moved to this ground in 1964 and has stayed ever since, despite undergoing a series of name changes over the years.

The most recent work on the site was a renovation in 2017, funded by the local administration to bring the facilities up to standard for the league. This project included the installation of an irrigation system and a covered stand for spectators. Before that, a major modernization took place in the 2000s, and another followed in 2022, ensuring the infrastructure remains stable. The pitch itself is a natural grass surface, maintained for the local side’s needs.

The seating capacity is often cited as 500, a figure that aligns with the local scale of the venue, though some sources suggest a higher total number including standing areas. It has hosted matches in the Romanian Cup, including a fixture against FC Plopeni in July 2024. It is not a place for major finals or concerts; it is a community pitch where the result is decided on the grass.
