Stadionul Municipal Ungheni

There was a stadium on this site long before any of that: local sides played here through the Soviet decades, when Локомотив held the ground from 1954 until 1991. Делия followed for three seasons, then Аттилла until 1997.

The reconstruction began in 2012, paid for out of the Moldovan state budget with the district council and the Federația Moldovenească de Fotbal both putting money in — more than four million lei in total. The rebuilt arena opened on 25 November 2014. In 2023–2024 the ground was worked on again: a new synthetic pitch supplied by the federation, plus a basketball court, ping-pong tables and a teqball setup around it. It is municipal property, run by the Ungheni city hall.

The club history here is tangled. ФКМ Унгень was re-founded in 2000 and spent years under other names — Спартак, Молдова-03, Олимп — before settling back on FCM Ungheni in 2017.

The ground also answers to Stadionul Central Ungheni . It is worth keeping that separate from Stadionul Unirea, which is in the Romanian town of the same name and has nothing to do with this one.
