Stadionul Progresul Spartac

The name gives it away before the record does: for decades this was Stadionul Prefabricate, a ground tied to a precast-concrete works south of the centre, in Sector 5 off Soseaua Giurgiului. It opened in 1966 as a workplace pitch, home to Sportul Muncitoresc and Betonul.

What changed it was a purchase, not a promotion. In 2014 Progresul Spartac București bought the ground outright and put its own name on it. The rebuild that followed, running from 2017 to 2019, replaced the old pitch with a synthetic surface, and the club fitted new stands and floodlights around it. Progresul Spartac has played there ever since, and the site now carries two covered five-a-side pitches the club lets out alongside the main ground.

The pitch itself is not an afterthought. The club specifies a 60mm synthetic fibre laid over a shockpad. ACS Juniorul 2014 București, playing in Liga IV's Bucharest county division, also calls it home, which keeps the arena in near-constant use.

Strada Intrarea Vrabiei runs to the ground's door, tucked into a residential stretch of Sector 5 rather than anywhere near the capital's larger stadiums.
