Štadión ŠK Odeva Lipany

Lipany is not a name that carries much weight beyond eastern Slovakia, and the club has settled at third-division level, but the ground itself has kept its town-team character across two distinct lives. It opened in 1935 with a wooden stand, and it stayed in that form for two decades before the town replaced the field and terracing in 1956 in something closer to what stands today.

The pitch is still natural grass, without undersoil heating and without floodlights on the main field — a detail the club's own captain has confirmed rather than left to guesswork.

ŠK Odeva Lipany plays its football here now, in the Východ group of the third tier, on a ground owned by the town rather than the club — Mesto Lipany holds the site, even though it was the football club that originally pushed for it to be built.
