Tainan Municipal Football Field

The name says it plainly: this is a municipal field, run by Tainan's Department of Sports, and only whatever tenant plays there for a season. The football field, at No. 10, opened in 2000 and has stayed a football ground since, most recently as home to Tainan City.

2020 brought the one departure from routine anyone bothered to record: matches played behind closed doors, the terraces empty, a consequence of the pandemic rather than anything to do with the pitch or the club's form. Outside that stretch, the ground has kept a low profile — no reconstruction, no record crowd on file, nothing to suggest it was ever meant to be more than what its name says.
