The Showgrounds
For thirteen months across 1971 and 1972, the ground on Ballycastle Road was not really Coleraine's alone. Few travelled. The crowds fell away, the money went with them.
Since 1983 the ground has been the home of the SuperCupNI, the youth tournament formerly played as the Milk Cup. Opening ceremonies and group matches have brought Manchester United , Celtic and Rangers to Ballycastle Road. In 2024 finals day came back.
Coleraine's own European nights have been staged on this pitch — UEFA Cup and Europa League ties against Feyenoord , Anderlecht , Sparta Rotterdam and Motherwell .
In December 2024 the club held a Christmas market on the site, the first in its history.
