Woochu Sports Arena
Paro, Bhutan
Formerly: Woochu Ground
The Woochu Sports Arena sits along the Bumthang-Ura Highway on the edge of Paro.
The pitch itself has run on artificial turf since it opened in 2001. The club that plays here, Paro FC, has made a habit of drawing well in the Bhutan Premier League, and its home form has carried into the numbers: the side holds the league's average attendance record for the 2025 season, though how many turned out for any single fixture, including the meeting with Thimphu City FC that reportedly set a new mark, is not recorded anywhere on the record.
Woochu is not where Bhutanese football stages its biggest occasions. Cup finals and the national team's fixtures go to Changlimithang in Thimphu, leaving this ground to the routine business of league football and, increasingly, a sport that has nothing to do with a ball at all.
