Zimbru-2 Stadium

The pitch has no name of its own beyond the number attached to it — everything about Zimbru-2 marks it as an annex rather than a destination. It sits inside the same Burebista Street compound as the main Zimbru stadium, built to serve the club's reserve and youth sides rather than to hold a crowd. There is no record of it opening on its own account; whatever construction gave Chișinău the senior ground in 2006 most likely extended to this second pitch as well, though nothing pins that down precisely.

What is certain is the surface: natural grass, kept to the same standard the first team trains and plays on next door, since FC Zimbru-2 uses the ground for its own fixtures rather than borrowing the main arena. At a listed capacity of 2,000, it was never built for matchday crowds — the sparse seating exists mainly so staff, scouts and the odd parent can watch a reserve-league game without needing the machinery of the senior stadium switched on.

No former name survives in any record, which fits a ground that has always been described in relation to something else — a satellite pitch identified by its address on str. Burebista rather than by any identity of its own.
