Andy Duvan Batyokha

Andy Duvan Batioja Rentería moved through Colombian football's academy system before establishing himself at senior level. Born in Palmira, Valle del Cauca, the forward began his youth career at Independiente Santa Fe before switching to the academy of América de Cali, the club that gave him his professional debut. He made appearances in the Categoría Primera A as a young attacker still finding his footing at senior level.

His move to Fortaleza FC brought a change of scenery within Colombian football, taking him from one of the country's traditional powers to a club built on a different model in Zipaquirá. At Fortaleza he plays as a forward, capable of operating from the left flank, and wears the number 11 shirt.

Batioja has also been involved with Colombia at youth level, having featured for the under-20 side, a step that reflects his development within the national set-up without yet translating into senior recognition. He has not been capped by the senior Colombian national team.

Batioja's career so far has been defined by steady progression rather than a single defining moment: a academy grounding at two of Cali's clubs, followed by a transfer that put him in a new dressing room and a new shirt number to make his own.
