Hernán De La Fuente

Hernán De La Fuente signed for Instituto de Córdoba in January 2026 on a one-year deal, arriving as a free agent after leaving Huracán. A right-back formed at Vélez Sarsfield, he made his professional debut against Huracán in November 2017 and went on to make around 31 league appearances for the club, adding a goal along the way. He left Vélez as a free agent in 2021.

De La Fuente then moved to Portugal, joining Famalicão on a three-year contract and making 26 league appearances in the Primeira Liga. A loan spell took him back to Argentina in 2023, turning out for Atlético Tucumán before he returned to Famalicão. In January 2024 he signed for Huracán, where reports differ on whether the move was a loan with an option to buy or a straight free transfer following his release from the Portuguese club. Over his time at Huracán he made 35 league appearances and scored once.

His most notable international experience came with Argentina's under-23 side, where he won 13 caps and was part of the squad that took the 2020 Pre-Olympic Tournament. He was later included in the Argentina squad for the Tokyo Olympics, featuring in matches against Australia and Egypt. At club level, he scored against Unión during the 2021 Copa de la Liga Profesional, a competition in which Vélez were eliminated by Racing Club in the quarter-finals.
