He won the Peruvian Primera División with Universitario in 2013, with Melgar in 2015 and with Sporting Cristal in both 2018 and 2020, collecting short-tournament trophies along the way — the Torneo Clausura 2015 and Torneo de Verano 2017 with Melgar, the Torneo Apertura 2018 with Cristal. The Cristal spell ended badly. In September 2020 he was separated from the first team over breaches of COVID-19 quarantine protocols, reportedly hosting parties and appearing in lift areas without a mask, and his contract was terminated by mutual agreement that month. He moved on to Sport Boys and then Cienciano before joining Atlético Grau in June 2023. At Grau he has become a fixture and, unusually for a goalkeeper, a penalty taker. He scored four spot-kicks in 2024, against ADT, Cusco FC and Alianza Lima, and two more in 2025, against ADT and Comerciantes Unidos. In March 2025 he combined both sides of the job in the same shootout against Cusco FC, converting his own penalty and saving two at the other end. Across the 2024 season he started all 34 league matches and kept 15 clean sheets, underpinning Grau's run to Copa Sudamericana qualification for 2025. At international level, he was named in Peru's 23-man squad for the 2019 Copa América, where the team finished as runners-up, though he did not feature in the tournament. He had earlier been called up for friendlies against the United States and Chile in 2018.
