Tobias Coppo

Tobías Coppo made his professional debut in 2018 with Ferro Carril Oeste, the club in his hometown of General Pico, before moving into Vélez Sarsfield's youth and reserve ranks that same year. He stepped up to Vélez's senior side in July 2019 and stayed with the Buenos Aires club until December 2021.

Since leaving Vélez, Coppo has moved on a free transfer at the start of each of the following years: to Santamarina in Tandil for the 2022 season, to Boca Unidos for 2023, and to Club Atlético Mitre in Santiago del Estero in January 2024. That stretch of one-year stays ended in July 2024, when he crossed to Ecuadorian football to sign for Leones del Norte, where he now plays.

A midfielder comfortable with both feet, Coppo has settled into a defensive and central role for Leones del Norte. He has not been called up to the Argentine national team at any level, and his career so far has not brought team titles or individual honours. What stands out instead is the steady, club-to-club progression that took him from provincial football in La Pampa through several stops in Argentina's domestic game and on to South American football abroad.
