Mladost Lucani U19

Stadion Mladost sits on JNA street in Lučani and holds the club's youth setup the same way it holds the first team, since the U19 side trains and plays on the same pitch the seniors use. The Omladinski pogon, the club's youth department, was set up in 1962, a decade after the senior club itself, on the initiative of the Football Association in Čačak.

What that pogon has produced since is the real case for the U19 side. Nikola Jojić moved on to Stoke City in 2023, but the bigger money came earlier, through Đorđe Gordić, Uroš Sremčević and Marko Veličković, sold on for fees running as high as €2m — sums that would be unremarkable for a senior club from Belgrade but stand out for a youth production line in a town the size of Lučani. The U19 team itself plays in the Omladinska liga Srbije, Serbia's national youth league, without any trophies of its own to show for it; the value here has always been the players who leave, not the medals that stay.

The senior side carries the "Plavo-beli" nickname in blue and white and has never lifted the Serbian SuperLiga, its closest brush with the top coming in a Serbian Cup final loss to Partizan in 2017–18. None of that history touches the U19 group directly, but the shirt and the badge are the same, and so is the derby the boys inherit the moment they step up: Mladost against Borac Čačak, a fixture with no official name attached to it but with all the needling of a genuine local grudge, played out between two clubs separated by a short stretch of road rather than any real distance.
