Samsunspor U19

Samsunspor's academy is at the Mustafa Kemal Erkanat Facilities, near the 19 Mayıs Stadyumu where the senior side plays.

The clearest proof of what the setup produced came in 2020–21, when the side won the TFF 1. Lig U19 championship, beating Balıkesirspor 2–1 in the final. Since then the group has gone through Ercan Koloğlu, Vural Korkmaz, Cenk İşler, Celil Sağır, Serkan Aykut and Doğan Erdoğan on its way to the first team, and more recently Yunus Emre Çift, Tahsin Bülbül and Muhammet Ali Özbaskıcı have followed the same route.

Samsunspor has spent the past few years widening that pipeline rather than just running it: partnerships with Genk in Belgium and with Dunkerque and Toulouse in France now feed into how the academy trains and recruits, a deliberate attempt to close the gap between what the U19s do domestically and what age-group football produces elsewhere in Europe.

Domestically, the results have been more modest. In the 2026–27 Türkiye U19 PAF Ligi, played in a single group nationwide, the side sat fifth after five rounds, with two wins, a draw and two defeats — competitive, not commanding. A single development-league title from six years ago remains the one trophy the age group can point to of its own, everything else in the club's history belonging to the senior side.
